MPV/Family Taxi in Venice

Travelling with DW and 3 children who will be 6, 4 &4 by then next Autumn and am concerned by the complexity of getting to/from the port to Venice airport.

As usual , RCIs flights and transfers are very expensive so was wondering if anyone had experience of booking a private transfer with a people carrier/MPV Family size taxi .
