ktmac1 Posted September 1, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 1, 2017 We aren't flying in - and we don't need to be on the ship right away. Is there a "better" time frame to avoid super long lines?

nycfa Posted September 1, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 1, 2017 This past April we got to the Gem around 10 am. Lines weren't bad and we were onboard by 11:30 am.
Stace894 Posted September 1, 2017 #6 Share Posted September 1, 2017 I found NY Port to be a bit of a madhouse the one time we have sailed from there, but I'm with the early crowd. We got there around 10am...checked in pretty quickly and were onboard not long after 11:30. Its just a bit disorganized compared to other ports I have sailed from. I"m sailing again next June but am trying Haven for first time so will see what that experience is like.
