Here are some pictures from our 3/19/04 Brilliance of the Seas 10 Day Panama Cruise. We had Oscar and had a great time. We highly recommend it. My apologies in advance for the quality of the pictures. I took them with an $8.00 Kodak disposible as I was afraid I would damage my digital. Here is the link:

How did you like ziplinig? We will be on the Coral Princess and will probably go with Oscar. It looks like you were able to do some sightseeing along with ziplining. What exactly did you do? Also, did you see any animals in the trees when you went zipling? thanks

Good Morning,

Yes, I went zip-lining and it was great! I am a young 52 yrs. old and it was no problem for me at all. Oscar was great and very professional. We did not see any animals while we were zip-lining, but we did see some monkeys on the way there. They were high up in the trees so be sure to bring binoculars or a camera with a good zoom lens. We also went to a place where they make furniture out of bamboo, a Del Monte banana plantation which was pretty cool, as well as a friend of Oscars that let us pet his Sloth and a cute little 4 month old monkey. Oscar also showed us a little surprise at the end of the tour. I can't tell you what that is, but it is pretty cool.

Note: I used a Kodak disposable to take my pictures because I did not want to risk damage to my digital. I really didn't need to be so careful. In hindsight I would definitely bring my digital with a good strap to hang it around my neck.

I hope that answers some of your questions.

Happy Cruisin!

Hi,

The place that we did our zipline tour was called Almods and Corals. The price was $40.00 just for the tour. You can make arrangements with them to get a shuttle as I doubt that a taxi would want to go there unless you paid them a handsome fee. It's about an hour and fifteen minutes to Almond and Corals from the pier. Also, thay have a website. I think it's AlmondsandCorals.com, or something like that. I found out about them by reading the threads in the Costa Rica Ports board.

Happy Cruisin!
