Cancun-Isla Mujeres

Got back 3 days ago from cruise. Cancun was last stop. We chose to take ships tour to Avalon Beach & Shopping. It was $35 and included all drinks, alcohol too. You could also use all their equipment like kayaks, water bikes, etc.. My mom and I chose to take a golf cart around the island. Very beautiful and clean. The water was beautiful. We made a few stops and headed back to Avalon Resort. The golf cart was only $15 for an hour. They also rent scooters for about the same price, but if you have belongings there isn't anywhere to put them. THe Avalon is a beautiful resort. THe pina coladas were delicious! I would stay at that resort. Isla is only a 35 minute ferry ride from Cancun. THere is quite a bit to do on the island, but it isn't as commercialized as Cancun. THere were other nice hotels and resorts on the island I would consider staying at. It was a great time.
