newbiecruiser Posted April 24, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2004 We are sailing on Jan 9th - will it be too cold to swim at the beach or snorkel? We went last year at Thanksgiving, and the weather was perfect. This year we decided to go a bit later in the season, because we are taking my niece and nephew and they are both out of school at that time, but I am wondering if it will be too cold to spend much time at the beach?? garydm Posted May 26, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 26, 2004 Depends on where you are going. The further south, the warmer. We were in PV January last year and the water was fine.

Cruise Miriam Posted June 18, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 18, 2004 Hi, I was on a Mex. Riv. cruise on the Vision in Dec. three years ago and it was hot once we actually got down to Mexico. Unfortunately, I got sick and missed Cabo and Mazatlan, but Puerto Varallata was very warm. The trip back to San Diego was rather chilly on deck and on the balcony -- I wore a sweatshirt while I was on my balcony.
