Photo Package

Recommended Posts

We'll be taking our first cruise on a 7 night with Jewel of the seas. There is 6 of us in the room if that matters. can someone explain to me how the photos work on a cruise ship, Is this something I should purchase before getting on the ship or wait?

Thanks for any advice. The package I am looking at says all prints and its just under $200.

On the Independence right now and before the cruise, the online Cruise Planner offered the full prints and digital combo for $199. Onboard it was only one or the other for $199 but $20 off if purchased in the first three days. We purchased the All Prints package for $179 and were told we could add all digital for $50 at any time.

There are a couple of other packages available (6 pics, 10 pics) I can check pricing later.

OMG! Just get them now. We were just on the freedom in December and it seemed when we were bored and wanted to look at our pics, they were closed. This phenomenon only seemed to take place after leaving the casino around 2am. So the las two days there were lines and we thought we would wait. Well they close at 10pm. After dinner and the show we went down there to find them closed once again. Ok we will check in the morning while we are getting off. NOT! They can't open after in Texas water. So still today I am listening to how it's my fault she does not have any pictures. The only silver lining is I booked another for September and she can wear the same dresses because there is no proof she wore them already. Just buy the full package now. The suffering is not worth it.

Thanks for your responses. Is there several people taking photos? Where and how often do they take these photos? We travel to Disney World annually and there's people everywhere taking photos. After a week in Disney, we usually have hundreds of digital photos. I'm assuming by the responses I received, I should get a photo package for the room now.

Yes, there's a whole photo crew taking photos all over.
