Anytime Dining Query

Hello all! Excited for our first RCI cruise to New England in just over a month. We had put down for Anytime Dining thinking we could just go in each day or perhaps book early in the day - there are 4 of us. I was surprised to then receive a note saying it was time to book our time slot. So.....what do I do? Take a chance each day or book ahead? We are interested in the evening entertainment and don't really fancy eating dinner at 9pm or later! TIA for your help!

Reservations are not required, you can show up whenever you like.

You can go anytime you want. You might wait a couple of minutes, but literally a couple. We only do MTD. Sometimes if we know what time want to eat we will go and tell the maitre d early in the day, but it is not necessary.
