Water taxi?

Someone who has been there recently, can you tell me more about the water taxi as far as cost and where they go?

It is basically a shuttle from close to the pier to the downtown area. I believe there are two drop off locations - one at the end of the boardwalk and one in the middle of town. I think the cost is $5 for a one-way trip, or $7 for all-day service (but don't quote me on that). It will save you about a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute cab ride. It runs back and forth all day long when there are ships in port.

Ok. So not an option to go to Mullet or Simpson bay then.

Correct - the water taxi only goes to Philipsburg. If you want to go any place else you will have to take a regular taxi, the bus, or book a tour.
