Naples Port MSC Seaview Question

The most convenient airport would be Naples International. From there it is a short 3-4 mile taxi ride to any part of Naples including the port. If that is not workable then you could consider flying into Rome (FCO) and using the train to get to Naples. The train will take you about 2 hours.

Thank you for the information. Do you know about the Port in Palermo? Same situation....trying to figure out best airport to fly into and then how far travel is from airport to port. I really appreciate your help.:cool:

I have driven by Palermo Airport which is officially known as Falcone-Borsellino. We have never flown in or out of the place so have no personal experience with the airport. It is a good 20 miles from the city and a taxi will not be cheap. I did a little research and found the web site for the airport bus which you might find helpful"

But personally we would probably not fly into Palermo unless we were in a rush for time. It would be more fun to use a ferry to Sicily and rent a car to have some time exploring the large island. That being said, we have done a few internal flights within Italy on Alitalia and our flights were actually on time. Kind of a shocker :).
