Superior v Deluxe balcony (freedom of the seas)

Recommended Posts

Bella,

It seems to be square footage. I am looking at the second sailing, and the available D2's (superiors) are actually less expensive (although not by much) than the E1's (deluxes). I think this is due to what floor they are on?

I've been trying to figure out if a D2 on the sixth floor will have a balcony that overlooks the tops of the lifeboats, but the drawings look like the lifeboats are contained within the exterior skin...in other words, flush with the exterior of the ship. Guess we'll see in June!

Still trying to figure out whether to book the D2 on deck six or the E1 on deck 8. I think I will book the D2 and maybe change later depending on what reports start coming back in May. I like the idea of being one level above the promenade, just a quick hop down the stairs.

Thanks for the info! I have checked out the Royal Caribbean Website and I did notice a slight difference in the square footage for the cabin size but it appeared that the balcony was a bit smaller. I am thinking of getting a superior balcony but am curious if the price difference is worth it.:p
