Halloween on Australian Cruises

Hello Everyone,

 

We are on Celebrity Solstice on an Australian cruise on 31 October (Halloween).

 

Can anyone let me know if Celebrity celebrate Halloween on board in anyway?

They will decorate just a bit, and some people will be in varying degrees of costume...

Halloween is not a festival widely celebrated down under. The concept of children going to strangers houses looking for sweets is not something we encourage in our youth. A few of the larger department stores have tried to encourage it but it has limited success.. As the Solstice down under will have a lot of Australian and New Zealanders on board Halloween will be somewhat subdued as opposed to a similar ship in the USA
