Curacao port landmark to meet at

You will most likely be at the Mega cruise Terminal right next to the Riff Fort complex and Renaissance.  Across fromt he baseball stadium.  Sometime a second ship in port will dock a short way up the St Anna Bay past the walking bridge by the ferry dock. but the ships I've seen there have been smaller than the Miracle.

But that's easy to see from Breedstrat and the bridge if you dock there.

meester_jamie,

The Carnival Miracle will dock at the Mega Cruise Terminal, berth 1 (the one nearest to the Rif Fort).

When you leave the ship head across the  concrete walkway past the Curacao sign, past the tourist booth and the white tent like awnings, keep going to your right and head past the taxi stand and the shops to the port security gate.

When you exit the security gate continue to walk along the decorative foot path, sea on your right, gardens/park on your left. The path jogs to your left, than to your right and goes between the Renaissance Hotel & Casino on your left and shops on your right.

The seating area in front of the Renaissance Hotel is where guests can have breakfast, next to this is the Casino entrance. On the other side, in front of the shops, is a seating area with a number of seats and sun shades (umbrellas) where everyone sits and connects to the free WiFi. This is a good place to meet and takes about 5 to 10 minutes to walk to from the ship.

The actual walk is a lot easier than trying to descibe it as there is only one way to go and it is sort of obvious once you are there.

If you continue down this path you will get to the Rif Fort, walking through the fort gets you to the seawall and the road to the Queen Emma Pontoon Bridge.

Thanks for the info !

We followed most of this, but turned short , towards Starbucks

that takes you near the entrance to the parking garage beside Starbucks where the guard and gates are

wifi was great at this location

short walk opposite the ball diamond

our friends found us just because they were heading to park there and use the wifi to get our messages so we hopped into their  car

After our grand tour of Curacao , we came back to the same parking lot to park and then continue this sight seeing that you mentioned.

first, off to the floating bridge, some snack and beverages on the far side to watch the bridge open and close a few times, then back past vendors , thru fort upper seaside walkway , then around the stores .. then up to the renaissance infinity pool, and a short walk back to ship!

Your description is very informative and as you said “ obvious once you are there”
