Balcony Cabins

I am not sure if this question has been asked or not so forgive me if I am repeating something. The balcony cabins on the sky etc are at the top of the ship. What are they like and do you get anymore movement than lower down on the ship. I have heard they can be noisy as well, but would like a first hand comment. I guess they would be at the top on the Sun and the Star as well. The new ships seem to have balcony cabins nearly all the way down the ship.

Hi Rockie, We were in a balcony cabin on the Pacific Princess on Deck 8 and did not have any problems with movement or swaying. I think with the stabilisers on ships now this is not a problem. Mind you we had smooth seas for the 10 day cruise. Did not have a noise problem either and we were under the pool deck. Having a balcony allows you to open the sliding door and get fresh sea air, which is great.:)
