I love gourmet food - will I hate cruising?

I love to cook and do not eat out often much anymore because I'm usually disappointed in quality and the cost. Having said that, i enjoy eating on cruises because it's the only time I can enjoy food without me cooking and it's already paid for. Is it good? Well, yes it is most of the time. Is it excellent? Well, no most of the time. Some things are better than others, but don't expect **** food.

Not sure if this is true on all cruises or not, but after 15+ days on board, cruise food becomes little tedious and fresh vegetables not too fresh especially greens or fruits.

Like others stated, gourmet is too vague of a description. What type of food do you normally eat?
