Mini boat excursion on Caribbean Princess

Has anyone done the miniboat excursion in St Thomas. We were trying to decide between this or just going to Sapphire Beach for the day. We have previously gone to Trunk Bay, which is beautiful and been to Megans Bay which I loved as well. The only other excursion that looked good was the half day snorkel on a catamaran. We did this last year in Tortola and it was the best excursion so far but it sounds like it takes the same route to St John that the ferry does and we've done that. If anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear them.
