Viking North Pacific Passage itinerary cancelled - coronavirus

I just received an email this morning saying the cruise itinerary was cancelled.  I called Viking, and they said they would have updates by Feb. 28th.  We were sailing from Tokyo May 11th.  Here's the email.

Dear Viking Guest,

Thank you for choosing Viking for your upcoming voyage. We want to advise you of an important update regarding your cruise.

Due to the current coronavirus situation and out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to redeploy Viking Orion to Alaska, where the ship was scheduled to begin sailing later this spring. As such, this requires that we cancel your upcoming itinerary to accommodate the ship's redeployment.

While we finalize the details over the next few days, we will be updating our system to reflect the new schedule for Viking Orion. You will not be able to access your My Viking Journey account until those adjustments are completed.

In the interim, we invite you to consider the following options:

Because of these circumstances, we will be extending two future cruise vouchers per person. Each voucher will be for $500 per person and may be used toward any future cruise with Viking. (The voucher will be emailed to you separately.)

- The first voucher you will receive must be redeemed within 12 months, but can be applied to any future sailing with Viking beyond that window.

- The second will expire on March 8, 2020. We hope you will use this opportunity to move your current booking to one of our many other extraordinary river and ocean itineraries available or to join Viking Orion on its new journey to Alaska. If you choose to move your sailing by this timeframe, you will be able to apply both vouchers to your new sailing to receive a total of $1,000 per person.

Alternatively, if you choose to cancel your trip, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid to Viking.

- If we do not hear from you by March 8, your booking will automatically be cancelled.

- We will begin processing refunds between March 8 and 16 for any guests who have not moved their booking.

- Any vouchers you may have used will be reinstated with the expiration date extended to December 31, 2020.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this change may cause.

If you have any questions or would like to move your booking to an alternate sailing, please contact your travel agent or Viking at 1-855-300-3970, Monday through Friday, 4:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and Saturday to Sunday, 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM, PT.
