kissykitty2002 Posted February 7, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 7, 2006 Hi everyone, Did anyone ever stay in cabin 7676 on Jewel of the Seas It's our first cruise and we upgrade from cabin 4030 to 7676 and I just want to make sure it was a good choice. It's for our wedding/honeymoon. Thanks Nancy
cruisinsince99 Posted February 9, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 9, 2006 Hi Nancy, While we haven't stayed in that exact cabin on that ship, we did sail the Vision on the Alaska cruise this past August in room 7660. It was right smack dab in the middle of the back. While we didn't see things first, we did see them last and longest!! :D Our sea conditions were very smooth due to being on the inside passages for most of the trip. We have been on the Jewel before though and the stabilizers she is equiped with kept her sailing smoothly when we hit the tail end of a hurricane. You should be fine. Order breakfast early on the cruise, we ended up doing that most mornings over going to the Windjammer or formal dining room. The balcony is more of a verenda, meaning it is longer and more spacious. Heck for that matter, we just spent a lot of time out there because it was so roomy. You do have the Conga Bar under you. We had one under us, too. You might hear a little bass late at night. We did, but it didn't keep us up. Being on your honeymoon, you will probably be down there dancing!! :) As for any engine sounds, I don't remember any. I do remember some suet on the patio furniture. Make sure to wipe it off before you seat on it with light colors. By the end of the sailing the entire back of the ship was like one big family. It was a good experience. You will love it. Oh yeah, congrats on getting married!
