Balcony on the Vision of the Seas

Recommended Posts

We just booked the nine day, beginning September 15, 2006. Our staterooms are side by side, 8560, 8562. When our TA called RCCL they could not give a definite answer, saying it varies from ship to ship. Does the wall/railing between the two balconies open? On a recent cruise on NCL this was possible, and we enjoyed being able to visit with our friends when we were all outside on our balcony, especially early morning when room service delivered our morning coffee.

If someone could answer the question, it would be appreciated.

Thanks

We did a 12 night family cruise on the Vision Sept., 2004 – our staterooms were in the area of 8046 – on the port side – on the other side of the ship from yours. The fellas checked to see if the white opaque glass partition could be removed, but it could not. :(

Of course, you can stand at the balcony rail & see & talk to your friends. You can still talk to them sitting down; you just have to stand to see them. Otherwise, there are lots of places onboard that you can sit & visit with friends.

The Viking Crown Lounge on deck 11 (forward) has cozy areas for friends to share conversation. And the views are wonderful. ;) Beverages can be purchased thru the bar attendants who walk around the Lounge. Check it out when you tour the ship. Also ,the deck where you have your Muster Drill has deck chairs where people can sit, relax, converse, etc.

Enjoy your Alaska/West Coast cruise with your friends. This is a great new itinerary RCCL is offering.

Happy Cruisin’
