Anyone on Royal southbound Whittier who did princess land tour before?

Hi, anyone on the Royal southbound who did land tour before?  What was done about the pre cruise covid test?  Also, what nights are formal nights?  tyia!

I've read that the covid test is booked and included in your tour but I was hoping to get some first hand knowledge on this as well. We're flying to Anchorage from Canada so we have to test before the flight but I'd like to be 100% sure I don't have to book another test before the cruise.

We are on the Royal now, it sailed from Whittier on Saturday.  Princess gave a choice of being tested on Thursday or Friday. This allowed you time for your excursions. We did it Thursday as soon as we arrived at the McKinley resort.
