Suite on Ecstasy?

Has anyone had a suite on the Ecstasy? If so, how is the decor? The pictures I've seen in the brochure look a little wild- lots of black and gold with hot pink and orange. Hmm.

I'll be in a suite (U94) on the Ecstasy in a little over 2 weeks. I'll be writing a detailed review and also posting pics. I am SOOO EXCITED!!!!!

that didn't work...hmmm. I'm not very good with this whole linking thing so I'm just going to tell you how I found it.

Go to cruiseclues.com (GREAT site by the way!!) At the top of the homepage, click on Photo Clubs (4th button - red). From that page, scroll down about 30 links to clubphoto.com/whalen206050 and click on it.

Then go down to Carnival Fantasy and it's the last picture on the first page of that album.

Hope this helps icon_smile.gif

If the suite colors are the same on the Ecstasy as they are on the Fantasy, then it looks pretty nice (especially compared to the picture in the brochure icon_eek.gif)

Yes, the decor is a little wild but on the Fantasy Class, that's the way it is.

The suites on the Paradise (much newer) were a little scaled down on the color scheme, but still not up to the suites on other lines.

HOWEVER, on the Fantasy class ships, the only way to get a balcony is to book a suite (or the cat 11, smaller), so it's that or nothing. They are quite large and you do feel like royalty (no perks, though) in such a large room. The balcony is a good size also.

We got great deals on upgrades. Would I pay $4500.00 for 2 in a suite for a week?? NO WAY. We upgraded about 1 month prior to sailing each time. For 2 adults, 2 kids on the Paradise last year, for example, $2700.00 for the 4 of us in a Cat 12 suite. Now THAT'S worth every penny.
