MSC Meraviglia Balcony Dividers

Does anyone know if MSC will open the balcony dividers between two rooms on the Meraviglia? I saw a few posts with mixed results. Some said they'd do it while in port, others said they wouldn't.

We were on the Meraviglia in March or April and had three adjoining cabins. The room steward opened all the balcony doors for us (until we had a fight and one person shut their door lol).

Are there any rooms that they can't open up the dividers for? I'm wondering about some of the forward rooms, for instance, maybe there would be safety issues if the dividers are removed there?

I think so. But it’s just a door that opens and closes. Not a removable divider.

one of the two dividers on my balcony rattled badly in high winds after maintenance did some painting.  asked room steward to look at it, but ended up doing a temporary fix by wedging a washcloth in the gap.

They are often opened for cleaning and maintenance. As far as I know, all can be opened. The rattling problem is something I know from nearly all ships. I always use some paper or tissues to fix is, so I don't have to worry about it blowing away into the sea when they open it. Big change they don't notice it being there.
