Question about transporation in Miami

We are still trying to make our final decision in what to do in Miami on our Spirit Cruise. We will be there March 15 from 9 am - 6:00 pm. My family (2 adults children 6 & 8) are going to do an airboat tour in the everglades and then go to Southbeach, we will have a rental car from Avis. My Mom, Dad and sister are going to go straight to Southbeach. I have a few question I hope some locals can answer:

 

What would cab fare cost from the cruise dock to Southbeach?

What is the parking situation in South beach, and how much would it cost to park?

To be back on the ship by 5:00 pm (cruise departs at 6:00 pm) when should we leave SB.

Can anyone recommend a good meeting area on South Beach, some place that will be easy to find.

Can you recommend a good restaurant in the area for lunch?
