Freedom - Any tips and suggestions?

Haven't been on a RCL cruise in years.  Going on the Freedom on 10/10.  Going with my BFF and her 3 kids ages 9, 10 & 16.  Any tips and suggestions of stuff to do?  Heard the sports bar is fun and is right next to the casino.  Are there deck parties at night?  Late night comedians?.

I had fun on a weekend cruise recently.   And I could say:  "Don't miss the casino!  Spend all your time there  It's great!"  But what if you don't gamble?  

 

Searching on YouTube for videos of the ship allowed me to find plenty of content on the ship.  I was able to watch, learn and find the things that I know I enjoy.  By taking the time to view, you'll answer all your questions yourself rather than getting answers from strangers with their bias as to what they like, which might not be according to your personal tastes.  Invest the time, read threads on here and draw your own conclusions.

Have you downloaded the Royal Caribbean app to your phone?  If not, it's a must.  

 

Once you log into your cruise, you'll be able to see activities that're available all week -- shows, times, movies on deck, menus in the MDR, theme nights at the Windjammer.  With your cruise being only days away, everything should be loaded up.
