Galveston debarkation from Prima….long wait

Disembarked from the Prima today expecting to grab a taxi for transport to the Budget rental car in La Marque. I thought there must be plenty of taxi service but I was wrong. There were no more than 2-3 taxis available at a time and the wait was well over an hour at 10 am. Uber is not allowed into the port but Lyft is. I stumbled upon Roy’s Taxi a local guy. His rate was more than reasonable compared to the $80 Lyft. Very friendly and good service.
