maggiev Posted April 22, 2023 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2023 I was hoping not to go into Fairbanks due to poor flight connections, but we are hoping to see The Northern Lights & have been led to believe Fairbanks is really our best bet. Other than that I don’t know if it will be worth it. We like the Arctic Circle excursion but I can’t find the area on this board that talks about excursions. wolfie11 Posted April 22, 2023 #2 Share Posted April 22, 2023 Northern Alaska Tour Company runs a variety of tours. They've been doing them for decades and have a good operation. You need to rent a car in Fairbanks. On clear nights you can drive out to Chena Hot Springs or head just out of town to the Goldstream Valley and Ester or Murphy Dome.
