Will I encounter any horses/donkeys during the Puerto Plata ATV and Damajagua tour?

Sounds silly but I have anaphylaxis to horses and although I have watched a ton of videos on youtube on this excursion...My wife saw one that showed a horse and became worried.   If they are around...how avoidable are they....like would we be driving through/walking through a concentrated area of them?
