Increase in Bahama Taxes for Bimini Stop

Has anyone else been sent a notification that taxes for 2024 cruises with Bahamian stops will increase after 1/1/2024.  According to news articles on the internet costs will go up $5.00 but Celebrity has increased my bill by over $17.00.  I could be missing something but am concerned Celebrity is just using this as an excuse to grab some additional revenue.
