Freddie's Mama Posted June 7, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 7, 2004 I was looking at some pics of the Captain's Cocktail Party from the Pride last night and I came across a pic of a Carnival bartender pouring the ingredients of an apple martini through a block of ice, kind of like the shots of tequila done in Cancun. Can anyone tell me if this is done on the Triumph during the cocktail party? Are the apple martinis part of the "complimentary cocktails" that are optional during the party? Thanks! SheSailsFL Posted June 7, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 7, 2004 Although we missed the Captains Cocktail party since we were late getting dressed that night, I saw only the traditional pre-mixed drinks or complementary champagne coming out of the lounges and in the dining room. Also on the video which we watched in the room later, it appeared that only the pre-mixed cocktails (rum punch I think) and champagne were served. I would hate to have missed free martinis! GroupCruiser Posted June 7, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 7, 2004 You can go up to the bar and order anything you wish. The trays the waiters bring around are a standard variety.
