Anyone from Melbourne, FL?

Recommended Posts

I saw that there was a person from Melbourne on these boards, worked for a company that transfers people to Port Canaveral, can't remember her screen name...grumpy something or another.

Anyway, we are driving to Melbourne, FL on Friday June 18th and spending the night and then driving to Miami early Saturday morning for our cruise on the Triumph. Yahoo maps says it's about a 3 hour drive from Melbourne to Miami. Anyone know the drive time?

I'd suggest exiting I-95 at Ft. Pierce (Hwy 70), go west about 1 mile and take the Fl. Turnpike. The time and traffic you save thru West Palm, Lauderdale, and N. Miami are well worth the tolls. Don't take the Keys turnoff, stay on the main pike and it will dump you back on I95.
