Dinner attire

What kind of attire do men wear to dinner?  My husband is wondering if he should take a sport coat.  If it matters, we will be on a Caribbean cruise departing from San Juan.

He won’t need a coat. Wear whatever you like on Virgin so dress up if you feel it, but most will be in shirt, polo or t-shirt.

You can dress up as little or as much as you wish at ANY restaurant.  The dress code is very limited and basically is no swimwear and cover appropriate body parts.  If he wears a jacket, he won't be the only one.  On the other hand, if he wears shorts and a  t-shirt, he won't be the only one either.  He should wear whatever he feels comfortable in.

Literally anything goes except swimwear. Shorts and TShirts up to nicely tailored clothing at night. Basically your husband is free to be himself, if the sport coat is something he likes, that's what he should do. It's a freeing feeling cruising on VV.
