knottma Posted January 12 #1 Share Posted January 12 I leave Saturday on the Seascape and I have been looking for emergency contact information to leave with my family. I would appreciate any input as this is my first MSC cruise and so far I have had a lot of difficulty obtaining information from them.

Hello weird..... in MSC pdf documents it doesn't appear Seascape phone number But I found this one 00870 773301077 in another web Be aware that calls to 00870 are satellite calls and they aren't cheap at all . Ask you operator but surely they are not included in any pack

Off to the airport! Hello About calls: - if you are in another country, international calls according to the rate agreed between your company and that country - if you are on the boat (whether you call or receive) it is a satellite call, it is not an international call. Ask your company because it is the most expensive type of call of all and it is not included in any package. Regarding "being on the boat" what counts is which antenna gives you coverage on the phone. If you are in the port or VERY close to the coast and reach the coverage of an antenna, it will be an international call. If you don't have antenna coverage, it is called satellite. To give you an idea, if you use the ship's phone they can charge you up to $10/min (regardless of which destination in the world you call) Of course... if it is urgent to call the ship, that is the phone number.
