Good memories of Norwegian Sun 2018 (South America)

My partner and I were just discussing his good memories of the Sun from a late 2018 cruise in South America.  We were not in a suite but we were invited to Cagney’s for breakfast and lunch but not dinner.  We just repeated our cruise on Celebrity.  It was not bad but missing a few ports.

 

He remembers a French restaurant but I don’t and I’m not sure what that would be?

 

I heard about the cancellations.

 

We’d like to try Norwegian again.  Does Sun have a sister ship we could try in a year or two or maybe a newer ship?  If the Sun ends up being sold?  We have been cruising with Celebrity a few times in their Aqua cabin or small Sky Suite.

We just sailed the Sun (12days during Christmas and New Year’s) although we like ncl we would never sail the Sun again. It is tiered and broken. Had lots of frustration on her. We did make the best of it but wouldn’t book it again.
