Condado in San Juan

Are you asking about the Wyndham Condado (atleast it was a Wyndham property when we were there in '04)?

If so, it was nice, although a bit older. The rooms in the newer section of the hotel, with the balconies that face the ocean, are amazing. The king rooms have a sitting area with a small couch and the bed faces the balcony so you look out over the ocean.

The pool is really nice also. There are two, one is salt water, the larger is fresh water with a swim-up bar. There is a small water slide and a volleyball net. We played for Pina Coladas, compliments of the hotel, on our post-stay.

The stairwell overlooking the pool has a nice view of the port.

There are 2 or 3 restaurants in the hotel. The italian one was good. There is a sports bar. And the casino is okay, but seemed small.

A coffee shop is right next door if you don't want to make your own in the morning and there are 2 or 3 restauants just across the street.

Can't comment on shopping or nightlife, we were only there 1 night pre-cruise and one night post with DD5.
