Considering an NCL cruise that goes to a few Caribbean Islands ( NOT Mexican Riviera), Puerto Rico, and Puerto Plata in March.  Been snorkeling in Hawaii and Roatan,  that was enough for me.  Is this itinerary just for beaches and water excursions?  I ( we) like to wonder towns, look at architecture , stop in a few shops.  Im starting to re-think the cruise, and considering other destinations.  If Puerto Rico is the only interesting port, I would rather fly and stay for a few days, instead of cruise and leave in a few hours.  Opinions on what to do if not into snorkeling.
