Screen name change?

Hey all - 

 

I've been a user for ages.  I would like to change my user name that appears on screen.  How do i do that?  Is it even possible?

To help you out your new thread has been moved to the Need Help Using the Forums? Check Here! forum where it will be on topic. It is the forum for questions and answers relating to technical assistance in using these message boards. Browse through the thread titles on this forum looking for threads of interest. You will probably find your fellow Cruise Critic members have already posted questions and received answers that will be of interest to you. And there are lots of pinned threads (aka Stickies) on the top of the first page of the forum. You will find very important instructions or information there.

Note you are to send your email from your current Cruise Critic email address of record mentioning your current user name and include a list of possible new user names. With 1.9 million Cruise Critic members, often new user names on your list may already be in use by other members. CC Help Michell will go down your list of five or six names and assign the first available. If none are available, you will be asked to submit a new list of possible user names and so on until the mission is complete.

 

BTW, if your current Cruise Critic email address of record is not correct and needs to be updated before you send your email, please click here: How To: Update your Cruise Critic Email Address This is so your membership can be verified, and any reply sent to your correct Cruise Critic email address of record. 

 

Please note once changed your previous posts will have the new user name. You will not have lost your post count, join date and signature. However, any previous quotes of your posts now in other member's posts, such as above, will still appear with the old user name.  

 

BTW, I suggest you use the Follow feature on any new threads you start or any other threads or forums where you are interested in the new replies.
