Transfer onboard booking credit from RCL

Is it possible to transfer my onboard booking credit from a Royal Caribbean cruise to a Celebrity cruise. I booked while onboard a RCL cruise in December thinking I wanted to take a 12 day cruise next fall with RCL but now I'm thinking about a 12 day Celebrity cruise.

I've transferred bookings between the two lines several times. You may have to push a little. Last time the initial reaction was "we don't do it" but when I indicated that I had done it before, they did the transfer.

I specifically asked if I could transfer the booking to either RCI or Celebrity, and was told it was fine.
