Alcohol on DCL

I have read a couple of older posts that DCL is not strict about bringing alcohol on board. Also, did not find anything in cruise docs stating it is a no-no. Any advice?

You are allowed to bring alcohol on board - they state it should only be consumed in your "room". We just brought a case of wine in February onto the Magic.

I've read it is illegal to ship alcohol in the mail to Florida. How did you take it on board? In a suitcase or box? I would like to take bottled water and beer but not sure the best way.

I've beem able to bring along some of my favorite brew. 12/15 cans, each of the past four years. No problem. In Nassau, I was able to bring on a six pack, no problem. That's all I know. Metrowon

Just returned from the Wonder. And, Wonder-ful says it all; food, entertainment, service, everything.

 

No problem bringing liquor and wine. I packed this in my carry-on, wrapped in bubble wrap, to prevent breakage in my checked luggage. I also brought mixers. No questions or comments.
