lillotis Posted June 24, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 24, 2004 What type of suite do you recommend booking? It looks like the balcony ones are out of our budget? What is the difference between the standard suite types? This is on the pride for our honeymoon.
Martha B. Posted June 24, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 24, 2004 The "A" suites are wonderful......actually they are exactly the same as the more expensive ones without a balcony. I enjoy the huge window as much as I enjoy the balcony! All suites are VERY large and luxurious! Congratulations! And have a wonderful honeymoon! lillotis Posted June 25, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted June 25, 2004 Thank you. we actually have a hold on cabin 131- an A1 suite. Hopefully we will be booking in the next few days. We are so excited!
bldsld Posted June 25, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 25, 2004 I prefer the A1 suites due to their mid-ship location, particularly if the seas get a bit choppy. I also appreciate having the shelf next to the large picture window, and find the French balconies to be essentially useless. The railings partially obstruct the view, and the only purpose for having them is fresh air. As these were retrofitted a few years back, they are not technically verandas. And, if you have been to France, you will know that "French balconies" are large enough to hold a plant, and that's about it! You will be fine in an A1 category. Of course, you will be fine anywhere on Seabourn!! bldsld
