Mai Tai Guy Posted May 10, 2006 #1 Share Posted May 10, 2006 We took the Cook Island itinerary last year and this year we decided to try the Marquesas. Bruno's tour was great, but this time we wanted to only drift snorkel the coral gardens, and not do the vanilla plantation, pearl farm and looganarium. Are there any other options for drift snorkeling the coral gardens besides the one offered by Princess for $ 92.00 per person?
Mai Tai Guy Posted May 11, 2006 Author #2 Share Posted May 11, 2006 Bruno has offered to do a half day drift snorkel through the coral gardens and a stop at the lagoonarium for the October 16 port in Tahaa. Just need a few more people to sign up.
fishman620 Posted May 12, 2006 #3 Share Posted May 12, 2006 How did you get Bruno to do that...We're booked with Bruno in August and don't really care to do the pearl and vanilla tour but the half day drift snorkel was not offered.
Mai Tai Guy Posted May 12, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted May 12, 2006 Since our ship will only be in port for a half day in Raiatea, arriving at 12:00 pm and departing at 4:00 AM, that's all we would have time for. We will be departing the dock with Bruno at 12:30 PM and returning to the ship at 4:45 PM. The cost is $ 75.00 for the coral gardens drift snorkel, a visit to the lagoonarium and another choice spot for snorkeling in the area. Any one interested can go to his website at www.tahaa.net for more information. Cheers!
