boogie boards cocoa cay

Is it worth it to bring boogie boards to cocoa cay? Sometimes I know the surf is not great for them

The ocean was quite rough when we went a few weeks ago - the tenders were bobbing around like you wouldn't believe. However the beach is on the opposite side of the island from the ship, and where we were (near the water playground) was very calm. People were floating on mats, but I don't think the boogie board would have worked. I don't even remember seeing a wave!

No waves when I was there last August either... It rained for about 30 minutes while we were at CocoCay and still didn't see much of a wave.
