Cash Withdrawals Onboard

I know that you can obtain cash from the cashier at the casino, which is then charged to your shipboard account. Does anyone know if there are any charges from Celebrity for this -ie is there a % added on or service charge.

 

Also, is there a maximum account that be drawn, either per day or per cruise?

 

We would obviously pay our shipboard account by credit card, but normally when you withdraw cash on your credit card there is a charge.

Celebrity does not charge a fee if you withdraw cash from the casino. There is a maximum limit of $2000/day you can withdraw. Celebrity will charge your credit card at the end of the cruise. You are actually withdrawing cash from the casino via your SeaPass card. These charges are added together and then charged to your credit card. So, you are not really withdrawing cash from your credit card.
