Getting email on the NCL Dream

When we got our tickets, they gave us an email address where presumably we can be reached.

 

Has anyone used this service. Do you know how much it costs to get or send emails.

Is there an internet cafe on the ship? Any idea how much registration and minutes cost for this? How does it work if someone sends us an email and we don't sign up for the internet cafe? :o

Do NOT use the email address that NCL assigns to you. It costs you $3.95 per email transmission if you use it. If you haven't done so already, set up and use an internet-based email service, e.g., Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL, etc. Using an internet-based email service will NOT incur additional charges.

 

Internet usage, however, is NOT free. There is a one-time initial fee of $3.95 to start using the internet. Here are the connection charges:

 

$0.75 per minute

 

Time Package Plan:

250 minutes for $100 ($0.40 per minute)

100 minutes for $55 ($0.55 per minute)
