Is it ok to bring camera on the Chilkoot Float and Chulitna River Rafting float?

For those who have took these excursions, is it safe to bring camera? And taking picture from the raft is it possible? :)

Can't vouch for the Chulitna float, but the Chilkoot Float is nice and mellow. Cameras are encouraged!

Haven't done the tours, but if you are concerned, you can look to get a realatively cheap housing for your camera. I wouldn't use it for underwater, but for splashproofing it should be fine.

Yes, we took one of those float trips and I took my digital camera along. I also had a waterproof bag to put it in when I wasn't going to take any pictures. Also, take along an extra pair of batteries. Mine went dead in the middle of the float trip and I missed out on some great shots of eagles. On the float trips, you aren't getting splashed like you do on the rapids trips.

Got excellent photos with a Fuji or Kodak (can't recall which) disposable waterproof camera... just another option...
