Taking pictures when swimming with the dolphins

I read that you cannot have your camera with you when you swim with the dolphins. So would be it be advisable for my husband and I to do different times and then we can video tape each other. Is there a place to observe someone swimming with the dolphins. I know that the place takes videos and pictures but I also know you can spend alot of money on the packages. I went to Discovery Cove in Florida and I think we spent like $200 on the package we got. We are going swimming with the dolphins in Ohos Rios at Dunn River Falls.
