CyberCabin - Voyager of Seas

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know the cost of having a CyberCabin (In room Internet) on a 7 day Med Cruise on the Voyager of the Seas in November, 2006

I paid $150 on our 13-day transatlantic (yours will be less), but I'll never do it again. They say it's "dialup" speed, but even that is being extremely charitable. I chatted with the IT guy who is in charge of managing it, and he conceded that it was always really slow on voyager class ships, and that the wireless was faster. If I had it to do again, I'd allocate that money to buying a block of minutes of wireless, and using internet cafes on shore.

[by "really slow" I mean on the order of 5-20kbps]
