Booked the Med. This Morning on the Emerald!!

We finally did it!

We booked a 12 day Grand Med. cruise for June 10th, 2007 for our 30th wedding aniversary. We just returned last weekend from the Freedom of the Seas and I guess the drinks were just a little too much because we stumbled into our TA's this morning and left with a Med. cruise. We are thrilled!! And to be aboard the new Emerald... WOW!

 

Any advice???? We are well versed in the Caribbean but this Med. thing is all new to us. Any and all Med. tips would be appreciated! We are flying into Venice and disembarking in Barcelona.

We just returned from the same cruise on the Grand last week.

It is an amazing adventure and once in a lifetime for us. I will be doing a review soon, came back to a desk full of work so haven't really rested up yet. If you have any specific questions I will try to help.

I would like to know below if you can when you have time....

 

How hard is it to get to ferry for Delos from where ship docks.

Ships trip is only there about 1 1/2 hrs and I am working on project that I need more time there for.

I know the ferries leave around 8-10am and get back around 3pm.

But know one seems to know how hard it is to get to them and how much it costs.

We too are booked on the Emerald, but we are leaving in July. Our cruise is similar, but more ports in Greece and no Spain. I would suggest joining the roll call of your cruise. Then you can talk with your fellow cruisemates and compare notes.
