wagmart Posted July 4, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 4, 2006 We will be going on the Galaxy on January 12, 2007 am interested in the whale watching tour out of St Lucia. We ahve been whale watching on the Pacific side but never in the Caribbean. Is it a good shore excutsion to go on? I look forward to hearing from you seasoned cruisers.:)
m steve Posted July 5, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 5, 2006 you can try Hackshaws. He has a web site and I think there is a link in the St. Lucia section.
MISSYLOU Posted July 5, 2006 #3 Share Posted July 5, 2006 Yes, it is a great excursion. The whale watch is not like whale watching in Maui as the whales are not that plentiful. You will see large schools of dolphins also and get a beautiful view of the tetons. We too booked with hackshaw.
Deb C. Posted July 5, 2006 #4 Share Posted July 5, 2006 Aren't the Tetons in the western US?? I have been to St. Lucia 3-4 times and never have seen the dolphins or the whales. Must have been there in the wrong season!
