Dream/St. Petersburg

Recommended Posts

Has anyone taken a private tour in Saint Petersburg from the Dream and had to wait till all the ship tours left. The website states people who are not on NCL tours have to wait until all the ship tours leave before disembarking. Is this true or do you just ignore that and leave as soon as you can? We have booked Alla rather than following the herd and wish to start as soon as we can.

Hi Marzipan!

We too were on the Dream and scheduled a private tour in St. Petersburg. I believe the ship-sponsored tours didn't disembark until about 8:15a.m. or 8:30 a.m.

We walked right off the ship at about 8:00 a.m. both days with absolutely no problem. And we breezed right through the Russian immigration office. Whenever you're ready to leave, just do it.

One word of caution, you may want to find out when the ship-sponsored group plans to disembark on your cruise and try to disembark prior to that. Otherwise, you may have quite a wait if you fall in line behind that crowd.

Good Luck!
