Grand Anse Beach on the south coast of the island is good and is close to St George's where your ship will dock.

 

Bathway beach on the northern coast is supposed to be good also.

The closet beach to port is Grand Anse which stretches for 2 miles. Also within easy travelling distance are BBC beach at Morne Rouge, Pink Gin and Flamingo up by tha airport.

Although Bathway has a fine sheltered beach it is at the northern end of the island and for anybody on a single day visit with a cruise ship would be too remote (most of your time would be spent in a bus driving there and back).
