Whale Watching Bar Harbor/Halifax

Hi There

 

My wife and I are on the NCL Dawn Canada/New England cruise 09 Sep.

Does anyone know which port and companies would be best for whale watching?

Also is it best to pre-book or will we be OK to just turn up and get on a trip at the port?

We are in a balcony stateroom - has anyone ever seen whales whilst abourd the cruise ship?
